Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated PhD researcher to join our team at ARCNL, where you will develop new concepts for imaging and metrology by integrating computational imaging, multimode fibers, lensless microscopy, and advanced light control in complex media.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop new approaches to sparsity-based subwavelength imaging through optical fibers
  • Connect several modern and dynamic research areas, including computational imaging, complex wavefront shaping, compressive sensing, and metrology
  • Enable fast and accurate characterization of 3D multi-layer nanostructures
  • Pave the way for better metrology tools for tomorrow's nanolithography
Requirements
  • MSc in physics or applied physics
  • Knowledge of computational microscopy, experimental optics, and/or semiconductor metrology
  • Programming skills in Python or Matlab
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English
About ARCNL

ARCNL performs fundamental research, focusing on the physics and chemistry involved in current and future key technologies in nanolithography, primarily for the semiconductor industry. Our research program is intimately connected with the interests of our industrial partner ASML.
