Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Technical Software Test Engineer to join our team at Trinamics Beheer B.V. in Utrecht. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through robust testing and automation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure software quality.
  • Design and maintain automated test scripts using Python to streamline testing processes.
  • Collaborate with the development team to understand software requirements and specifications, ensuring seamless integration.
  • Conduct thorough unit testing and integration testing to identify and resolve defects, ensuring high-quality software delivery.
  • Implement Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
  • Execute regression tests and analyze test results to drive continuous improvement and optimization.
  • Identify, document, and report software defects and anomalies, providing actionable insights for improvement.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software, meeting business objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proven experience in software testing and test automation, with a strong focus on quality assurance.
  • Expertise in Python for test automation, with a solid understanding of unit testing frameworks.
  • Proficiency in Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) tools and practices, ensuring efficient test coverage.
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies, with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • ISTQB or similar certifications (preferred but not required).
