Technical Software Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Technical Software Test Engineer to join our team in Utrecht. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through robust testing and automation.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure software quality.
- Design and maintain automated test scripts using Python to streamline testing processes.
- Collaborate with the development team to understand software requirements and specifications.
- Conduct unit testing and integration testing to identify and resolve defects.
- Implement Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
- Execute regression tests and analyze test results to drive continuous improvement.
- Identify, document, and report software defects and anomalies to ensure timely resolution.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience in software testing and test automation, with a strong focus on Python.
- Expertise in unit testing frameworks and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) tools.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication and collaboration skills.
- ISTQB or similar certifications are a plus.
