Administrative and Communications Officer, Executive Officer - Corporate Services

The Clinical Trials Centre (HKU-CTC) is a leading clinical trials management platform established under the University of Hong Kong LKS Faculty of Medicine (HKUMed) and is dedicated to managing and facilitating international-standard clinical trials on new drugs, medical devices, and medical technologies.

We are seeking a highly skilled Administrative and Communications Officer to join our Administration and Corporate Communications Unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating human resources affairs, assisting in the formulation and implementation of corporate communications and branding strategies, and preparing materials for marketing and public disclosure.

Main Responsibilities

  • Coordinate human resources affairs, including recruitment, appointments, and onboarding arrangements;
  • Assist in the development and implementation of corporate communications and branding strategies;
  • Prepare materials for marketing and public disclosure, including annual reports, staff newsletters, and articles for social media and website;
  • Assist in planning, organizing, and coordinating various internal and external events;
  • Provide secretarial support to senior management and assist with internal/external meetings, including preparing meeting agendas, minutes, and presentation slides;
  • Supervise junior staff to handle general office administration and facility management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above;
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in corporate administration and corporate communications, preferably in the medical and/or research sectors;
  • Good coordination, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills;
  • Detail-minded, able to handle multiple concurrent tasks, and self-motivated;
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) is a must;
  • Proficiency in multimedia, graphic design, and video-editing tools is an added advantage.

The appointment will be made on a two-year fixed-term full-time contract, to commence as soon as possible, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, together with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 10% of basic salary. Other benefits include annual leave and medical benefits.
