Job Title: Global Sustainability Business Development Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Sustainability Business Development Director to join our team at International Flavors & Fragrances. As a key member of our Nourish business, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sustainability strategy that aligns with our corporate goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a sustainability strategy that integrates with our commercial strategies and ensures business continuity.
  • Lead sustainability pipeline initiatives and develop partnerships for regenerative agriculture implementation within the value chain.
  • Define a certifications/claims strategy and drive cross-functional teams to progress initiatives to launch readiness.
  • Deliver a sustainability training program designed to support commercial teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sustainable business strategies aligned with organizational goals.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of work experience with a strong preference for experience in the flavors industry and/or food ingredients.
  • Background in sustainability, food, agriculture, business development, or marketing.
  • Ability to quickly understand product and innovate ways for product to benefit potential customers.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to work under pressure and in new environments.
  • Proven sales and business development experience in food and agriculture sectors.
  • Experience working with large business and global corporations at senior leadership levels.
