Client Service Officer

State Street is seeking a highly motivated Client Service Officer to join their team in Amsterdam. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing back-office services for asset owner and asset manager clients in the Dutch, Belgian, and Nordic markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactive engagement with clients to drive up satisfaction levels through proactive outreach and formal client communications.
  • Monitor client satisfaction deliverables and operational execution for back-office products and services.
  • Coordinate product trainings and facilitate demos, webinars, and regulatory updates with subject matter experts.
  • Client first port of call for operational escalations and client negotiation and dispute resolution.
  • Manage and grow revenue and profitability, identifying cross-selling opportunities.

Client Solutioning:

  • Intake and coordination of client-initiated changes, client operational initiatives, and new client technology, products, and services.
  • Client solutioning and consultation to support new client products and fund structures.
  • Review client operating model to identify improvements.

Client Governance:

  • Client KPI reporting and obtaining client operational documentation and ensuring maintenance.
  • Participate in due diligence sessions and facilitate regular internal virtual team sessions with internal user groups.

Requirements:

  • Experience working within the finance sector, with knowledge of custody and/or fund accounting.
  • Proficient in using all MS Office applications.
  • Strong focus on managing and resolving issues, excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Motivated to understand and respond effectively to client needs, flexible and positive attitude.
  • Good level of numeracy and ability to analyze financial data, good team player, and ability to work to deadlines.
