Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager Technical Accounting to join our team at ASML. As a key member of our Accounting Expert Advisory team, you will be responsible for providing technical accounting guidance and support to our colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical accounting guidance and support to colleagues on US GAAP and IFRS standards
  • Determine the accounting impact of significant sales and procurement deals
  • Participate in project teams for acquisitions and other strategic projects
  • Take ownership of Integrated Reporting for ASML Holding NV (US GAAP and IFRS)
  • Review quarterly Consolidated financial statements and earnings releases (US GAAP)
  • Develop and maintain accounting policies through the accounting manual and position papers
  • Establish and maintain our Sarbanes-Oxley scoping and control framework
  • Provide a second level of oversight over accounting compliance
  • Develop and deliver training programs throughout the organization
  • Communicate with the Audit Committee, Disclosure Committee, and Internal Control Committee
  • Assist with external auditor inquiries on technical accounting topics

Requirements

  • Master's degree with completed RA (or equivalent)
  • 10+ years of experience, including managerial experience
  • Knowledge and experience with US GAAP and IFRS
  • Knowledge of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and its requirements
  • Experience/knowledge of continuous monitoring and data analytics
