About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager Technical Accounting to join our Accounting Expert Advisory team. As a key member of this team, you will play a critical role in advising colleagues on the correct and consistent interpretation and implementation of US GAAP/IFRS standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advising colleagues on US GAAP/IFRS standards and ensuring consistent application across the organization
  • Leading the accounting impact assessment of significant sales and procurement deals
  • Participating in project teams for acquisitions and other strategic projects
  • Preparing and reviewing Integrated Reporting of ASML Holding NV (US GAAP and IFRS)
  • Reviewing quarterly Consolidated financial statements and earnings releases (US GAAP)
  • Developing and maintaining accounting policies through the accounting manual and position papers
  • Setting the Sarbanes-Oxley scoping and control framework
  • Providing a second level of oversight over accounting compliance
  • Providing training and guidance to colleagues on accounting matters
  • Communicating with the Audit Committee, Disclosure Committee, and Internal Control Committee
  • Assisting the external auditor on technical accounting-related topics

Requirements

  • Master's degree with completed RA (or equivalent)
  • 10+ years of experience in accounting, including managerial experience
  • Knowledge and experience with US GAAP and IFRS
  • Knowledge of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and its requirements
  • Experience/knowledge of continuous monitoring and data analytics
