Background Information
The DUV Wafer Table initiative is essential for supplying key components for our DUV scanners. This responsibility is a vital aspect of the Wafer Table Performance team at ASML. Certain components of these systems experience wear due to interactions with customer products, necessitating timely replacements. Understanding the lifespan of these components is crucial for our Supply/Demand strategy, which is why we are focused on developing effective swap detection methods.
Your Assignment
During this internship, your responsibilities will include:
- Creating a metric for swap detection specific to dry Wafer Tables;
- Integrating data from multiple information sources;
- Formulating the metric and logic to identify swap moments;
- Validating the model using field data through prototype dashboards.
Your Profile
The ideal candidate for this internship will:
- Be enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program in Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, or Physics;
- Have experience in handling large datasets and conducting population data analysis;
- Be proficient in tools such as MATLAB;
- Exhibit a solution-oriented mindset with a practical approach;
- Possess excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
This internship is designed for students seeking practical experience, requiring a commitment of 4-5 days per week (with 4 days on-site) for a minimum duration of 6 months.
