Regional HR Manager Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Regional HR Manager to support the strategic objectives of Plug Power.

Responsibilities:

* Interface with managers and employees to build relationships, employee morale, and increase productivity and retention throughout Plug Power in EMEA.

* Facilitate support for designated departments by communicating with the Human Resources Centers of Excellence and Global Human Resources Business Partners to execute operational excellence.

* Develop recommendations and coordinate employee relations activities, including leading or assisting in investigations of alleged misconduct and submitting findings and recommendations to the HR Director EMEA.

* Partner with leaders and employees on performance development and employee disciplinary matters.

* Collaborate with the Global Talent Acquisition team to support recruitment efforts for assigned departments.

* Assist in facilitating HR training to various levels of management, including company policies, EEO, and Anti-Harassment training, leadership training, HR compliance, and employee engagement.

* Respond to potential employee grievances and regulatory agencies as appropriate.

* Conduct exit and stay interviews, analyze data, and make recommendations to the HR leadership team for continuous improvement.

* Administer various HR policies and procedures.

* Maintain an ongoing knowledge of legislation impacting HR activities, identify compliance gaps within HR functionality, and recommend remedial actions as appropriate.

* Participate in special HR projects to maintain a positive employer-employee relationship and morale.

* Develop strong collaboration with internal clients and staff across departments.

* Promote a culture of employee engagement, a positive environment, and a great place to work.

* Represent Plug Power in a professional manner at all times and in all interactions.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's or master's degree in human resources, business, or a relevant field.

* Minimum of 5-7 years' experience in an HR role managing topics with a good level of independency.

* Fluent in Dutch.

* Experience in employee relations, including experience with workplace investigations.

* Well-versed in working with works councils.

* Experience working in global organizations in fast-paced environments.

* Experience with European legal and employment regulations.

* Track record of harmonizing, aligning, and improving processes, policies, and benefits.

* Experience working in an organization with numerous locations and a remote workforce is highly preferred.

* Experience with Workday is desired.

* Computer and software systems skills as applicable to the position, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.

* Demonstrates the highest level of integrity and confidentiality.

* Proven track record of developing effective relationships.

* Dynamic interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with diverse audiences and stakeholders at all levels.

* Demonstrated analytical abilities with strong attention to detail.

* Excellent follow-through.
