About the Role

We are seeking a Portfolio Manager to join our team. As a Portfolio Manager, you will calculate the flexible power potential of industrial customers based on technical data and market conditions.

You will win customer trust by making clear assumptions about industrial processes and convince them with quality studies. You will work closely with Technical Account Managers to translate detailed studies into understandable proposals for customers.

Your communication skills (written and oral) are just as important as your analytical skills.

In addition, you will be involved in the day-to-day valorization of Flexcity's portfolio on reserve markets. You will contribute to strategic bids and apply system operator Elia's rules scrupulously while considering market conditions.

After a training program, you will become our expert in flexibility products and participate in workgroups with Elia about market development.

Responsibilities
  • Assess flexibility characteristics of installations for new sites.
  • Evaluate the value and risks that sites could add to the portfolio based on flexibility characteristics and current portfolio.
  • Draft technical proposals for new and existing clients and provide technical support.
  • Assist with asset integration into our portfolio.
  • Offer client support and communicate directly with clients.
  • Become the flexibility product specialist, both internally and externally.
Qualifications
  • Strong analytical skills with a high interest in data management.
  • Customer-oriented approach with a focus on the customer's perspective.
  • Proactive approach and strong sense of responsibility.
  • Technical interest in new technologies and passion for energy.
  • Fluent in English and Dutch; any other language is a plus.
  • Master's degree, preferably in engineering.
  • Flexible mindset with a 'can-do' attitude.
  • Results-oriented with a pragmatic and professional attitude.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, both internally and externally.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary package with meal and mobility allowance. The estimated annual salary for this role is approximately €65,000 - €85,000 depending on experience.
