Your Role Overview
Key Responsibilities
In this leadership position at Idean, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our reputation, expanding our business, and nurturing our talent through three main areas: Project Leadership, Business Development, and Design Leadership.
Project Leadership:
You will take the lead in project delivery, serving as the primary engagement leader, often collaborating with senior oversight on larger initiatives. Your responsibilities will include guiding multidisciplinary teams comprising designers, strategists, consultants, technologists, and project managers. You will cultivate and maintain strong client relationships while providing leadership and hands-on support to the project team. Your involvement will span all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring that outcomes align with user needs and client objectives. You will navigate challenges and ambiguity, fostering collaboration with clients throughout the creative process and presenting your team's concepts to stakeholders.
Typical Project Tasks:
- Lead project teams to achieve exceptional performance while maintaining timelines and team cohesion.
- Establish quality benchmarks, understanding client goals and constraints, for research, insights, experience models, design, and testing.
- Drive the development of insights, identify opportunity areas, and conceptualize innovative solutions.
- Create meaningful feedback loops through iterative testing and learning cycles.
- Prioritize MVP features, manage backlogs, and develop strategic product roadmaps.
- Support the implementation of new products, bringing ideas to fruition.
Business Development:
- Collaborate with business development teams to craft proposals and present to potential clients.
- Identify opportunities for project expansion within client organizations.
- Contribute to thought leadership and content creation for demand generation initiatives.
Design Leadership:
As a member of the design leadership team, you will help foster a vibrant design culture within your studio. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and mentoring junior team members, providing constructive feedback and support for their professional growth.
- Participating in talent acquisition efforts, either as a hiring manager or as part of hiring teams.
