Position Title: Research Fellow in Nanomedicine and Drug DeliveryCompany: HKU

We are pleased to announce an exceptional opportunity to become a part of the innovative team at HKU. We are currently looking for motivated individuals to take on various roles within our cutting-edge Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Lab focused on Drug Delivery, Nanomedicine, and Advanced Therapeutics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in the design and development of therapeutic solutions
  • Formulate and evaluate nanoparticles
  • Employ state-of-the-art methodologies to analyze nanoparticle characteristics
  • Improve the efficacy of advanced therapeutic agents
  • Conduct cell culture and in vivo experimentation
  • Collaborate with clinical research partners
  • Document progress and assist in grant proposal writing
  • Oversee student researchers and foster a productive research atmosphere
  • Share research outcomes through scholarly publications and presentations

Qualifications:

Educational Background and Expertise:

  • Ph.D. in relevant scientific disciplines
  • Postdoctoral experience is advantageous
  • Proven research background

Research Competencies:

Comprehensive experience in various research domainsPractical knowledge in cell culture and in vivo experimental modelsExpertise in molecular biology methodologiesExperience in bioconjugation techniques

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with diverse imaging methodologiesExperience with advanced analytical techniques

Administrative and Collaborative Abilities:

Efficient management of research initiativesAbility to work both independently and in a team settingStrong attention to experimental details

Language and Technical Proficiency:

  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Proficient in grant writing and information technology
