Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Service Desk Officer to join our team at The New Force in Eindhoven. As a key member of our Global DLL community, you will provide front-line support and engage with our customer base through the intake of calls via the Service Desk.

About the Role

In this role, you will perform root cause and metrics analysis on incoming customer issues, identifying trends and potential risk areas. You will also manage the communication process for incidents and issues out to the greater DLL organization, engaging other Service teams as required for timely resolution.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Engaging our customer base through the intake of calls via the Service Desk.
  • Developing an approach for analyzing Service Desk metrics and communicating findings to Services Management and overall Supply Management.
  • Performing and managing post-issue root cause analysis, identifying opportunities for future avoidance of recurring issues and improving stability.
  • Managing individual and general communications out to the IT customer base regarding incidents/problems and outages.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A strong background in IT, with a vocational or bachelors degree in the field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English and Dutch.
  • Experience in customer interaction, including phone and written skills.
  • A team player mentality, with flexibility in working hours.
  • A quality-driven and results-oriented approach, with a focus on delivering exceptional results.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position based in Eindhoven, with regular working hours and occasional overtime as required. We offer a competitive salary, estimated at €45,000-€55,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
