Overview
The Group Compliance Manager at Koninklijke BAM Groep plays a pivotal role in steering compliance and governance efforts across the organization. This position is essential for upholding our ethical standards and ensuring that all operations align with relevant laws and regulations.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a robust ethics and compliance framework that adheres to legal standards and data protection requirements. Your duties will include:
- Cultivating a workplace culture that values diversity, integrity, and safety, while positioning BAM as a leader in the industry;
- Managing compliance and data protection efforts for the Corporate Centre, ensuring all practices meet regulatory standards;
- Implementing compliance strategies in line with the Group's three-year compliance plan;
- Providing insights and recommendations to enhance the compliance and data protection landscape;
- Elevating awareness of governance and compliance topics throughout the organization through training and proactive initiatives.
Reporting directly to the Governance & Compliance Director, you will collaborate closely with various Group Functions and divisional compliance managers. You will assist in reporting compliance progress to senior leadership and relevant committees.

- Competitive salary ranging from €7,940 to €9,930 per month, based on experience and qualifications;

We are looking for a candidate who exemplifies BAM's core values and is committed to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and effective governance. The ideal candidate will possess:
- At least 5 years of experience in compliance and data protection;
- Experience in publicly listed companies or large multinational organizations;
- Background in industries such as construction, engineering, or related fields with a project-oriented focus;
- Proven track record in developing and implementing compliance processes and business controls;
- Proficiency in English and Dutch, both written and verbal, is essential.
