Process Improvement Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Improvement Manager to join our Tender Assurance team at Koninklijke BAM Groep. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and supporting the creation and implementation of BAM Practices with expert groups.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and developing a robust process framework for the Tender Assurance Function;
- Identifying, planning, and initiating necessary process updates and bringing together experts in relevant disciplines;
- Supporting and maintaining a structured and effective cooperation with division tender desks;
- Organizing kick-offs with expert groups and providing them with a sense of purpose and pride in process development and being an expert;
- Contributing effectively to the functioning of the TA team, supporting CRM development, and tender review activities where needed;
- Leading the Tender Assurance Process Specialist to perform in an excellent manner;
- Playing an active role in developing Data Governance within the TA function;
- Playing an active role in developing and maintaining the tender dashboard.
You will be working closely with the Tender Assurance Director, providing crucial input for our Stage Gate process. As part of a 5-person Tender Assurance team, you will help implement our work-winning policy across BAM and all tenders.
This position is based in Bunnik, The Netherlands, and offers a hybrid work environment, allowing you to work both from home and at the office. Occasional travel to the United Kingdom is also required.

RequirementsWe are looking for a person who can develop an inspiring vision and has a strong drive to further develop the Tender Assurance role. You should have:
- A completed university degree;
- Proven analytics skills and a drive for continuous improvement;
- At least 6 years of relevant experience in the field of tendering processes and business, project, or tender management;
- Experience within large, complex organizations, preferably within construction, engineering, oil and gas services, property, maritime, dredging, or related industries;
- Experience with the development and implementation of tender processes and related business controls based on enterprise risk management;
- Fluency in English and Dutch, both written and verbal;
- Elementary Power BI skills and/or a willingness to learn;
- The ability to collaborate across departments, working closely with other leaders and team members (good stakeholder management).
