Process Improvement Manager

Koninklijke BAM Groep is seeking a highly skilled Process Improvement Manager to join our Tender Assurance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and supporting the creation and implementation of BAM Practices with expert groups.
You will continuously help expert groups guide and assist them in their roles by providing communication channels, templates, and a uniform way of working, as well as monitoring progress. You will maintain our tendering processes and templates, support our team members, and play an active role in dashboarding and reporting to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop a robust process framework for the Tender Assurance Function at Koninklijke BAM Groep;
- Identify, plan, and initiate necessary process updates and bring together experts in relevant disciplines;
- Support and maintain a structured and effective cooperation with division tender desks;
- Organize kick-offs with expert groups and give them a sense of purpose and pride of taking part in process development and being an expert;
- Contribute effectively to the functioning of the TA team, supporting CRM development and tender review activities where needed;
- Lead the Tender Assurance Process Specialist to perform in an excellent manner;
- Play an active role in developing Data Governance within the TA function;
- Play an active role in developing and maintaining the tender dashboard.
As a Process Improvement Manager, you will work closely with the Tender Assurance Director, providing crucial input for our Stage Gate process. You will be part of a 5-person Tender Assurance team, helping to implement our work-winning policy across BAM and all tenders. This position is based in Bunnik, The Netherlands, and offers a hybrid work environment, allowing you to work both from home and at the office. Occasional travel to the United Kingdom is also required.

What We OfferAt Koninklijke BAM Groep, we believe in investing in our employees and creating a positive and inclusive work culture. We offer a salary between € 5,990,- and € 7,490,- gross per month, depending on your knowledge and experience. This is based on a 40-hour working week and excludes 8% holiday pay.

We are looking for a person who can develop an inspiring vision and has a strong drive to further develop the Tender Assurance role. You should be able to set clear goals and constantly look for opportunities. You should be transparent and always keep an eye on the impact for the organization.
- You have a completed university degree;
- You have proven analytics skills and a drive for continuous improvement;
- You have at least 6 years of relevant experience in the field of tendering processes and business, project, or tender management;
- You have experience within large, complex organizations. Preferably within construction, engineering, oil and gas services, property, maritime, dredging, or related industries;
- You have experience with the development and implementation of tender processes and related business controls based on enterprise risk management;
- You are fluent in English and Dutch, both written and verbal;
- You have elementary Power BI skills and/or are willing to learn;
- You have the ability to collaborate across departments, working closely with other leaders and team members (good stakeholder management).
