Every day, our platform presents various assignments across multiple locations, accessible via the Roamler app. This app features over 2 million tasks annually, available to our extensive community of Roamlers. This community, comprising tens of thousands of individuals across Europe, can promptly respond to tasks and choose when and where to execute them. The tasks range from gathering insights through mystery shopping to executing merchandising activities and more.
As Roamler continues to expand rapidly, the role of the Business Development Director is crucial in achieving our ambitious goals.
Your Role:
In the capacity of Business Development Director, you will be responsible for nurturing and expanding our relationships with strategic clients by collaborating with senior executives in leading FMCG companies to support their growth and profitability objectives. Your focus will not only be on existing clients but also on leveraging your network to uncover new opportunities. The initial step involves engaging with senior leaders, followed by the challenge of determining how to leverage Roamler's technology for optimal return on investment.

A growth-oriented mindset, dedication, and a track record of exceeding expectations are often more valuable than specific qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attract new clients by collaborating with senior stakeholders in leading FMCG companies to identify and efficiently capture growth opportunities using Roamler's technology.
- Enhance relationships with existing clients by becoming their trusted advisor on innovative retail execution; identify successful use cases and scale them into comprehensive programs.
- Negotiate complex contracts profitably while managing a healthy P&L with a focus on marginal contribution.
- Formulate and implement a growth strategy for all European markets, working alongside local key account managers to drive growth.
- Mentor junior account managers to help them identify and pursue growth opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Over 8 years of partnership experience, with a proven track record of managing and expanding significant commercial relationships; experience in a SaaS environment is advantageous.
- Results-oriented with a readiness to meet ambitious growth targets; you strive for excellence in all endeavors.
- Desire to contribute to a scale-up environment and a strategic mindset with a hands-on approach.
- Data-driven with the ability to identify value levers within data.
- Proficient in written and verbal communication in both English and German.
