Job Summary

The Sales Development Team Manager (International) is responsible for overseeing a team of Direct and Channel Sales Development Representatives. The Sales Development Representative team are often the first people that prospective customers and partners engage with at KnowBe4 and play an important role in generating genuine interest and nurturing the relationship to the point of handing off to the Sales Team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mentor and coach a team of Direct and Channel Sales Development Representatives to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Oversee the follow-up and qualifying of direct and partner leads by SDRs to ensure that all leads are properly qualified and passed to the Sales Team.
  • Monitor the daily statistics of the Sales Development Representatives and identify any discrepancies in reporting to ensure that the team is meeting its goals.
  • Support Channel Sales Development Representatives by assisting with partner escalations and ensuring that all procedures and policies are followed by team members.
  • Ensure that all team members are effectively leveraging sales tools to discover new leads and that the team is executing a strong prospecting plan of attack.
  • Tag in on calls with team members as necessary to provide guidance and support.
  • Coordinate and align with Global Sales Director on the performance (goals/plans) of the SDR Team.
  • Provide genuine recommendations as to the hiring, firing, promotion, and discipline of subordinate employees to which the Company gives significant weight.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree a plus.
  • Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the IT Security Field a plus.
  • Minimum 1 year Channel/Direct experience.
  • Minimum 1 year Leadership experience.
  • Experience with Gmail and Google Docs.
  • Experience with MS Office.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications.
  • Excellent people skills.
  • Managerial experience.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Friendly phone voice.
  • Pleasantly persistent as it can take multiple tries to reach a prospect.
  • Ability to leave an engaging message and sound interested.
  • Must be highly organized and results-oriented.
