About the Role

Damen Naval in Vlissingen is seeking a skilled Senior Engineer Plans & Arrangements to join our outfitting team. As a Senior Engineer Plans & Arrangements, you will be at the forefront of outfitting engineering, focusing on accommodation and technical spaces excluding engine rooms. Collaborating with a team of outfitting engineers, you will apply your technical expertise to ensure the functionality, maintainability, and ergonomic design of outfitting arrangements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute engineering activities using 2D and 3D environments, such as Cadmatic or 3DExperience (Catia)
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and customer specifications
  • Develop necessary information, including arrangements, lists, and fabrication/mounting drawings
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement and development of the department
  • Develop and describe yard standards to enhance operational efficiency
Requirements
  • Secondary vocational education (MBO-4+) related to outfitting discipline
  • At least four years of experience in engineering outfitting systems
  • Proficiency in 2D CAD and 3D CAD systems, such as Cadmatic or 3DExperience (Catia)
  • Knowledge of Class and Statutory regulations and outfitting systems, preferably within the maritime or offshore industries
  • Excellent command of English, both written and verbal
  • Excellent references and antecedents as a pre-employment security screening is standard part of the recruitment procedure
  • Permanent EU citizenship and passport are both required and candidates with NL/EU (work) visa or with both an EU and non-EU nationality and/or passport are not eligible in accordance with the requirements imposed by the military nature of our projects
