As a Product Risk Expert within DBNL, you will engage with and empower senior management in their accountability for control and resilience, focusing on Product & Customer and Risk.
The objective of ODCR is to ensure ING remains secure by enabling our (business) leaders to manage their (local) processes and activities efficiently and effectively for the organization as a whole. Through the ODCR Experts, ING leaders receive a comprehensive overview of all control and resilience requirements for the relevant risk topics. Within the Expert team, the Product & Customer Risk Expert is responsible for requirements concerning customer suitability (PARP), ESG, and accessibility.
As a strategic partner to the first line risk owners, you will drive the control and resilience calendar pertinent to your expertise across various business domains. Collaborating closely with the ODCR Business Partners, you will assist business line and tribe leadership in ensuring that business leaders maintain control, implement new requirements, and concentrate on critical issues.
Key Responsibilities
In your capacity as Product & Customer Risk Expert, you will:
Cultivate strong relationships with (senior) managers across business domains by demonstrating business insight and providing control and resilience solutions. Lead the implementation roadmap for new risk requirements in your area of expertise and translate these into operational designs in collaboration with business lines. Deliver control designs, first line monitoring documents, and (data-driven) evaluation methods for the frameworks within your expertise, ensuring execution. Engage with Tribes to incorporate control and resilience by design in their processes. Educate and enable managers on control and resilience requirements and compliance necessities. Utilize data and reporting to shape the control and resilience agenda and facilitate relevant discussions in business meetings. Apply the most suitable control and resilience solutions to ensure compliance with local business processes or activities. Inform and educate Assurance Operations teams (both local and in the ING Hub) on evolving business needs, opportunities, and assurance requirements to deliver appropriate solutions. Collaborate with relevant 2LoD and 3LoD colleagues on risk management inquiries and provide advice on risk mitigation activities.Success Factors

Qualifications
Master’s/Bachelor’s degree with up to 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the Private Individuals domain. Comprehensive knowledge of, or the ability to quickly master, Private Individuals products and processes. Proficiency in English and Dutch. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Solid understanding of (and practical experience with) the NFR Framework, monitoring, and reporting. Excellent analytical abilities. Proven planning and organizational skills. Driven and customer-focused, with a passion for collaboration. A team player who can also deliver independently while closely cooperating with other ING colleagues. A proactive 'can do' attitude that drives results. Effective problem-solving skills. Willingness to seek help and feedback, as well as the courage to provide feedback and speak up. A pragmatic, thorough, and results-oriented approach. The ability to quickly learn new content and build new networks. Strong organizational sensibility and stakeholder management skills.
