About the Role

Serco is a leading Space Services Provider with a rich history of supporting over 50 space missions on behalf of top Space and Government agencies worldwide. We offer a unique opportunity for a skilled Documentalist to join our team at the esteemed ESA-ESTEC site in the Netherlands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the preparation and coordination of ESA final reports, ensuring correct document versioning and archiving.
  • Coordinate and prepare recurrent and non-recurrent documents for the Programme Board, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with GCDs or DRDs.
  • Perform proofreading, formatting, and editing to ensure documents are structured, written, and formatted consistently.
  • Produce or modify document templates to ensure compliance with agency requirements.
  • Coordinate and track document readiness for submission, ensuring timely delivery of formal documents.
  • Support the coordination and publication of documents prepared by the ESA Executive for the Programme Board depository.
  • Establish and maintain the archive of documents.
  • Support coordination and finalization of document data packs for EC, International Partners, or Member States.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Communications.
  • At least 4 years of relevant work experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of formal communication and ability to analyze complex issues within institutional environments.
  • Experience in documentation management and communication.
  • Good sense of organization and ability to work autonomously.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with discretion and tact.
  • Proficiency in the use of the Agency's information systems and tools.
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
  • Knowledge of another ESA member-state language is an asset.
