About the Role
Fugro is seeking a Senior Information Security Officer to join our dynamic Global Information Security team. This position involves designing, challenging, and advising on the security architecture of Fugro's IT Infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless integration of security principles and practices across all areas of our technology environment.
Your Key Responsibilities
- You will be part of a multi-disciplined central information security team reporting to the global manager of information security.
- You will participate in architecture meetings to ensure compliance with Fugro's information security policies and principles.
- You will challenge proposed IT solutions and designs and determine improvement possibilities on the security controls.
- You will maintain a holistic overview of security platforms and tools used within the company.
- You will advise on the design and implementation of security measures and controls to secure the organization.
- You will determine smart solutions for integrating security systems and solutions within the IT infrastructure.
- You will provide technical guidance and support to IT and security teams and stay current with the latest security technologies, trends, and threats.
- You will evaluate and recommend new innovative security technologies, solutions, and services to enhance the organization's security posture.
About You
- You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- You have at least 5 years of experience in Information Security in an architectural role and have proven knowledge of Information Security platforms, industry standards, and tools.
- You are in possession of a CISM certificate or capable and willing to successfully acquire one within 12 months. An ISO 27001 Lead Auditor certificate is considered a plus.
- You can demonstrate full knowledge and understanding of security architectural principles such as ZTA, SABSA, and Jericho.
- You have excellent organizational, coordinator, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- You have excellent English language skills, both written and oral.
