Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Information Security Officer to join our global team at Fugro. This role will be instrumental in maintaining and communicating our Information Security policy across the organization. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across all functions and regions to ensure our Information Security Management System is well understood, adopted, and implemented.
Your Role
- You will be part of a multi-disciplined central information security team, reporting to the global manager of information security.
- You will have a solid understanding of performing risk assessments as an input for policy maintenance.
- You will work with Project Managers, Business Analysts, architecture, and other stakeholders across functions to identify information security risks and ensure Fugro Information Security policy and standards are being followed.
- You will be an effective and efficient communicator who can build the bridge between technical and non-technical people.
- You will provide feedback on security compliance to various stakeholders at all levels of the organization, in support of continuous improvement and setting priority areas.
- You will drive and achieve clear positive change to the information security posture through regular engagement and collaboration.
- You will actively share knowledge and insights to increase Information Security awareness throughout the organization.
Your Track Record
- You have a BSc or MSc degree in Information Security, Information Technology, or relevant professional experience and at least 5 years of experience in information security.
- You can demonstrate excellent knowledge of Information Security industry standards, such as ISO 27001 and NIST Cyber Security Framework.
- You are in possession of a CISM certificate or capable and willing to successfully acquire one within 12 months. An ISO 27001 Lead Auditor certificate is considered a plus.
- You have experience working with internal and external auditors and demonstrated experience in obtaining and maintaining ISO 27001 certification.
- You have excellent English language skills, both written and oral.
