Job Description

Fugro is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Information Security Officer to join our team in Europe. As a key member of our Information Security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the implementation and maintenance of our Information Security Management System.

Your Role:

  • You will acquire a thorough understanding of our key assets and processes, and work closely with stakeholders to evaluate and reduce risks to acceptable levels.
  • You will be at the forefront of key projects, collaborating with stakeholders across all functions within the Europe & Africa region.
  • You will work with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Architecture, and other stakeholders to ensure Fugro's Information Security standards are being followed.
  • You will support the business within the bid process regarding security-related aspects, internal and external auditing, and other related security assessments.
  • You will provide feedback on Information Security Programs to support continuous improvement and setting priority areas.
  • You will achieve positive change in Information Security through regular collaboration.
  • You will actively share knowledge and insights to increase Information Security awareness throughout the organization.

Requirements:

  • BSc or MSc degree in Information Security or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in both Project Management and Information Security.
  • Knowledge of Information Security standards, such as SOC1, SOC2, ISO 27001, NIST standards, and relevant legal compliance aspects.
  • Information Security certifications, such as CISSP or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, are seen as a plus.
  • Experience working with internal and external auditors and demonstrated experience in application security practices and IT Risk and Security governance.
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and oral.
