We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Design Team Lead to lead a team of mechanical designers in a project setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience in leading design teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead a team of 5-10 people in planning and coordination to realize hardware deliverables according to the project plan.
- Problem Solving: Solve complex problems based on deep and broad content knowledge.
- Risk Management: Manage risks and customer requirements.
- Team Development: Develop individual team members.
- Technical Expertise: Have a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
Requirements:
- Education: Technical University master's or Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in a development and engineering organization and at least 3 years of experience in leading design teams.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a multidisciplinary team, and experience with mechanical design software.
