About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Groups & Events Executive to join our team at Leonardo Royal Hotel Amsterdam City Center. As a key member of our sales and events team, you will be responsible for maximizing turnover and guest satisfaction through effective event planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Planning and Execution: Coordinate and plan groups and events, including meetings, conferences, dinners, and other events, to ensure seamless execution and high guest satisfaction.
  • Commercial Insight and Strategic Implementation: Develop and implement commercial strategies for group and event pricing and planning to maximize revenue potential.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Maintain clear and effective communication with customers and internal departments to ensure successful event execution and meet customer needs.
  • Contractual Handling and Invoicing: Manage contracts, deposits, and invoicing to ensure accurate and timely financial transactions.
  • Menu Arrangements and Revenue Maximization: Coordinate menu arrangements for clients to maximize revenue potential while meeting client needs.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in Event Management, preferably in a hospitality-related field.
  • Education: HBO working and thinking level, with a preference for a Hospitality-related course.
  • Language Skills: Good knowledge of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
  • Skills and Qualities: Creative and positive mindset, strong communication and collaboration skills, ability to think strategically and lead, and a professional and service-oriented attitude.
