Your Opportunity
As a seasoned sustainability expert, you will guide clients in driving their sustainability ambitions and navigating complex environmental challenges. With a strong focus on corporate sustainability strategies, you will develop innovative solutions to help clients reduce their environmental footprint and meet their sustainability goals.
About the Role
This exciting opportunity is part of BearingPoint's growing international corporate sustainability team, where you will work closely with clients across various industries, including Consumer Goods & Retail, Energy, Utilities, Postal, Telecommunications, and Pharmaceutical.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive corporate sustainability strategies for clients, including project management, stakeholder engagement, and quality assurance.
- Guide clients in adopting new sustainable business models, leveraging innovative concepts and technologies to drive sustainability goals.
- Build and maintain senior client relationships, identifying new business opportunities and driving growth.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest sustainability trends, monitoring new developments and innovations to inform BearingPoint's thought leadership and strategy.
- Contribute to the development of new propositions in the field of sustainability, enhancing BearingPoint's offerings and portfolio.
- Collaborate with the growing European BearingPoint network to improve and guide the corporate sustainability practice.

Requirements
- A Master's degree in a sustainability-related field or a technical/organizational business/energy focus.
- A proven track record (5-10 years) in sustainability and/or management consultancy or an industry background within the field of sustainability.
- Strong analytical skills and numerical understanding.
- Proven project management skills.
- Excellent communicative skills in both Dutch and English (written and oral).
- Experience with topics such as corporate sustainability, socio-environmental challenges, CSRD/CSDDD, ESG frameworks, greenhouse gas accounting, sustainable business strategies/models, sustainable development goals, and change management.
