About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Taxonomy Expert to join our Sustainability Reporting team at KPMG Nederland. As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance on the EU Taxonomy requirements and supporting clients in their non-financial reporting efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop subject matter expertise in the EU Taxonomy and provide training to colleagues and clients
  • Support clients in interpreting EU Taxonomy requirements and assist audit teams with technical matters
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including CMAAS, Sustainability, Audit, and Department of Professional Practice
  • Provide high-quality advisory services to clients, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional results
Requirements
  • MSc in Accounting or Control or relevant field
  • Certified accountant (RA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent)
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in external audit, with a strong understanding of non-financial reporting
  • Demonstrated interest in sustainability and EU Taxonomy requirements
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work under pressure
