Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated PhD researcher to join our team at the University of Twente. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic and international research environment, working on the development of technologies for dynamic and adaptable actuation in compression devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop technologies for dynamic and adaptable actuation in compression devices
  • Design and develop modular, scalable, and compact systems for on-body and in-body applications
  • Collaborate with close colleagues, researchers, and other staff to achieve project goals
  • Contribute to the development of new actuation principles and technologies
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical Engineering, or equivalent
  • Profound knowledge and skills in Actuators & Sensors, System engineering, and Prototyping techniques
  • Affinity with medical applications and device design
  • Good team spirit and ability to work in an interdisciplinary and internationally oriented environment
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written
