We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Laboratory Assistant to join our team at the Centre for Comparative Medicine Research at HKU.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the daily operations of the laboratory animal vivarium, including animal preparation for procedures and surgery
- Set up training sessions for researchers and assist with animal colony management
- Perform animal health checks and maintain accurate records
- Work flexible shifts, including Sundays and public holidays
- 5 passes in HKCEE, including English, Chinese, and Mathematics, or equivalent in HKDSEE
- At least 3 years' experience working in a laboratory animal vivarium
- Experience in animal husbandry, breeding, and colony management, or equipment operation and maintenance
- A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience
