At BD Kiestra, we're seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Manager Surgery to join our team in the South of the Netherlands. As a key player in our sales organization, you'll be responsible for driving growth and expanding our presence in the region.
About the Role
As an Account Manager Surgery, you'll be the primary point of contact for our customers in the South of the Netherlands, providing expert guidance and support to help them achieve their business objectives. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Sales of BD's broad Surgery portfolio and innovations
- Achieving annually agreed sales targets and growth within your region
- Building and maintaining long-term relationships with customers
- Proactive analysis of market trends and developments to ensure competitive advantage
- Introducing new products and handling contract negotiations
- Representation at conferences and fairs
- Maintaining our CRM tool and ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
Your Profile and Skills
We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced sales professional with a strong track record of success in the healthcare industry. Your ideal profile includes:
- HBO thinking and working level, through experience or education
- 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in healthcare or specifically in the field of hernia, infection prevention, and/or biosurgery
- Experience with introducing new brands or products to the Dutch market
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
- Good project management skills and a structured working method
- Strong degree of self-activating ability, seeing and seizing opportunities in the market
- Excellent knowledge of Dutch and good knowledge of English (oral and written)
