Job Description

As a Portfolio Risk Manager at STAFIDE, you will be responsible for providing portfolio risk management services, including assessing and maintaining the Portfolio Risk Register and corrective/mitigation actions log. You will also offer guidance and training on risk and issue management processes for programs, projects, and business activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide portfolio risk management services, including risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and maintain risk management processes and templates for consistent use across programs.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify and characterize systemic risks, and develop responses to mitigate their impact.
  • Support strategic projects and programs by analyzing risk registers and identifying potential breaches of tolerance.
  • Deputize for senior staff when required and perform additional duties as necessary.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, with at least 2 years of post-related experience, or 6 years of relevant experience without a degree.
  • Professional certifications in Managing Successful Projects (PRINCE2 or equivalent) and Management of Risks (MoR or equivalent).
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in risk management, preferably within a program or portfolio office.
  • Proven ability to plan, organize, and complete work assignments promptly while collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
