Job Title: Portfolio Risk Management Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Portfolio Risk Management Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective management of risks across our portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide risk management services to ensure the identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks across our portfolios.
  • Develop and maintain risk registers and corrective action logs to ensure timely identification and resolution of risks.
  • Provide guidance and training to constituent programmes and projects on risk management processes and procedures.
  • Analyze risk registers to identify potential breaches of tolerances and provide recommendations for mitigation.
  • Support strategic projects and programmes by providing risk management expertise.
  • Identify and develop responses to systemic risks and capture lessons learned.
  • Deputize for higher-grade staff as required.

Requirements:

  • A currently active NATO SECRET security clearance.
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, such as Business Management, Scientific or Engineering, and 2 years of post-related experience.
  • Professional certificates in Managing Successful Projects with PRINCE2 (or equivalent) and Management of Risks (MoR) (or equivalent).
  • At least 2 years of practical experience in risk management and working in a programme or portfolio office.
  • Demonstrated experience in planning, organizing, coordinating, and completing work assignments in a timely manner, as well as working successfully with diverse stakeholders.

Desirable:

  • Prior experience working in an international environment comprising both military and civilian elements.
  • Knowledge of NATO responsibilities and organization, including ACO and ACT.
