About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled System Owner to lead our Electrical Systems Platform team at Damen Shipyards. As a key member of our Technology Management department, you will be responsible for defining and implementing a clear vision for our electrical systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for our electrical systems, aligning with business objectives and market opportunities.
  • Manage the development and standardization of modular and scalable system families, variants, and options to meet the needs of our Damen Workboats portfolio.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to drive innovation and ensure technology is developed according to systems engineering principles.
  • Embed knowledge within the organization, setting up training and instructions to ensure seamless system support.

Requirements:

  • Academic degree in a technical field, such as Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of electrical systems in a relevant industry.
  • Experience with project management, systems engineering, and collaboration with third parties.
  • Effective communication skills in English, with Dutch a plus.
