About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Web Data Specialist to join our team at MediaMarktSaturn Retail Group. As a key member of our digital analytics team, you will be responsible for analyzing our website's performance and working closely with our digital development, commercial, SEA, and SEO teams to improve traffic, conversion rates, and overall online experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Track and forecast a wide range of KPIs, with a focus on traffic and conversion rates;
  • Develop and implement digital forecasting and automation of data flows;
  • Design and maintain dashboards to automate reporting and provide data visualization and storytelling;
  • Produce weekly and monthly reports on performance, highlighting key insights and recommendations;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement analysis-driven action plans and track their effectiveness;
  • Provide data-driven insights to management to inform business decisions;
  • Support online growth by identifying new opportunities and sharing insights with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Participate in AB testing, providing valuable insights and hypothesis to test.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in web data analysis or a related field, with a strong background in CRO;
  • HBO/WO degree in Economics, Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, or equivalent;
  • Proficiency in SQL, with experience in BigQuery a plus;
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, including custom reporting, complex segmentation, and marketing tools connections;
  • Experience with dashboarding tools, such as PowerBI, Looker Studio, or Tableau;
  • Knowledge of Google Tag Manager;
  • Python skills a plus;
  • Customer focus, data-driven decision-making, and strong communication skills;
  • Proactive, ownership-oriented, and willing to learn;
  • Stakeholder management and strong communication skills;
  • Prioritization and time management skills;
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills;
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt and work autonomously.
