**Job Summary**
The University of Hong Kong (HKU) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Research Assistant I/II to join our team in the Division of Geriatric Medicine. As a key member of our research team, you will assist the Principal Investigator in conducting clinical research projects related to patient-doctor communication and medical decision-making.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist the Principal Investigator in designing and implementing research studies, including data collection, management, and analysis.
- Recruit participants and conduct questionnaires, interviews, or other data collection methods as required.
- Conduct literature reviews and prepare reports on research findings.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal Investigator.
**Requirements**
- A Bachelor's degree or above in Psychology, Public Health, Social Sciences, Nursing, or other healthcare-related disciplines.
- At least 1 year's post-qualification experience in research work, preferably in a clinical setting.
- Experience in using statistical software such as SPSS and/or R.
- Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese) communication skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in qualitative research would be advantageous.
