The Project:
Engaging in a significant infrastructure initiative, you will be an integral part of a team overseeing the documentation process for a complex project. The management of Engineering, Delivery, Commercial, Contract, and Contractor Administration documentation is a critical requirement, and the document control team plays a vital role in achieving these objectives.

You will deliver comprehensive, effective, and timely support for the project's Administration and Document Control Process through the project's control / EDMS system. The document controller is responsible for the registration, receipt, distribution, and issuance of all contractual documentation, as well as the issuance and registration of all formal project documentation. This typically includes ensuring compliance with document control standards, maintaining a record of document status, collaborating with project members, and following up on outstanding information. You will work within a team and coordinate with various stakeholders regarding the production and distribution of project documentation throughout the project lifecycle in accordance with established protocols.
Additionally, you will assist the supply chain in adhering to information processes, developing an understanding of the tools utilized in the project, and staying informed about current methodologies and tools for managing project-related data and information.
Your Responsibilities Include:
Effectively and efficiently following information management processes and adhering to standards for client-facing projects. Contributing to the effectiveness of the project/programme information management function, ensuring project personnel can access necessary information. Supporting and advising project/programme colleagues on information management practices and processes. Ensuring quality control of documents and artifacts submitted and stored. Assisting in the establishment, implementation, and enhancement of the Common Data Environment (CDE). Contributing to the global Digital Centre of Excellence, including knowledge sharing, processes, and case studies. Coordinating activities to ensure successful project management. Managing work activities to achieve agreed objectives and providing performance management, development, and coaching. Collaborating towards the common goal of achieving net zero carbon transition and sharing responsibility for identifying and managing associated carbon emissions and reductions during project delivery.Required Qualifications:
Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat/Nitro Pro. Familiarity with document control systems (EDMS), with Aconex being advantageous. Experience in Information Management from one or more projects and programmes. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience working with diverse stakeholders. Disciplined, methodical, and organized approach to work. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, assisting and training others.Additional Qualifications:
Technical qualifications and certifications such as APM IM or equivalent. Expertise in key information management software, including Aconex, Viewpoint, Business Collaborator, etc. Knowledge of ISO 19650 series, UK BIM Framework, and CDE management. Experience working in an international context.
