Key Responsibilities:- Propose changes to the governance and management of the IKM domain, focusing on federated networks at multiple classification levels.
- Engage with communities of interest and federated partners, including allied nations and enterprise-level organizations, to gather information exchange requirements via surveys and workshops.
- Prepare and manage meetings, set agendas, engage with representatives, manage action lists, and contribute to working papers and presentations.
- Contribute to enhancing the efficiency of federated governance and management of information, data, and knowledge management activities.
- Stay updated with the latest technological developments in federated information management solutions.
- Maintain coherence in governance and management structures related to Federated Mission Networks (FMN), Allied Reaction Forces (ARF), emerging digital backbones, and policies of participating nations.
- Support the Digital Policy Committee on data and information standardization, dataset identification, and federated master data management.
- Provide ad-hoc SME support as required.
- Expert knowledge of IKM, information architecture, and systems engineering.
- Proficiency in TOGAF, UML, and requirements elicitation and analysis.
- Demonstrated experience designing governance processes, including managing an Information Management Compendium, governance standards, and conducting Information Management Maturity Assessments.
- Strong background in XML, metadata management, standardization, and harmonization.
- Experience in project management, presenting IKM strategies, and managing action plans.
- Experience working in committees and groups with direct involvement in implementing IKM policies and directives.
