Job Title: Senior Underwriter Property

Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Underwriter Property to join our team at Victor Insurance Nederland. As a key member of our Property Business, you will play a crucial role in the professionalization and growth of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and update our acceptance policy
  • Contribute to the development of and implement efficient solutions in collaboration with capacity providers, intermediaries, and sometimes policyholders
  • Evaluate and process risk proposals and settle complex quotes, as well as assess change requests
  • Monitor and anticipate market developments
  • Maintain and expand relationships with colleagues, intermediaries, and capacity providers
  • Ensure the technical result (COR) on the relevant portfolio(s)
  • Contribute to a culture characterized by collaboration, entrepreneurship, accountability, integrity, and transparent communication

Requirements:

  • Minimum HBO work and thinking level
  • WFT Schade, zakelijk particulier, and zakelijk
  • Branche diploma A-brand (studying for this or equivalent level)
  • 5-10 years of experience as an Underwriter Property
  • Thorough knowledge of specific markets
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Good command of Dutch and English in word and writing
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with MS-Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to plan, organize, and structure
  • Ability to function in a team and independently
  • Problem-solving skills and result-oriented
  • Eye for quality and innovation in service delivery
  • Sytem knowledge of CCS Level is a plus
