Senior Underwriter Property

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Underwriter Property to join our team at Victor Insurance Nederland. As a key member of our Property Business, you will play a crucial role in the professionalization and growth of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and update our acceptance policy to ensure alignment with market trends and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with capacity providers, intermediaries, and clients to design and implement innovative solutions that meet their needs.
  • Assess and evaluate complex risks, and negotiate and finalize insurance contracts.
  • Stay up-to-date with market developments and regulatory changes, and translate this knowledge into new or modified products.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, intermediaries, and capacity providers.
  • Contribute to a culture of collaboration, entrepreneurship, and transparency.

Requirements:

  • Minimum HBO work and thinking level.
  • WFT Schade, zakelijk particulier, and zakelijk insurance knowledge.
  • Brand diploma A-brand (or equivalent level).
  • 5-10 years of experience as an Underwriter Property.
  • Strong knowledge of specific markets.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS-Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to plan, organize, and structure tasks.
  • Self-motivated and result-driven.
