We are seeking a skilled professional to take on the role of a Mechatronic Design Engineer focused on mobile robotics. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design and development of advanced mechatronic systems, including control, sensing, and actuation systems tailored for autonomous robotic mechanisms.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and engineer mechatronic systems that integrate seamlessly with robotic platforms.
- Contribute to the integration of mechatronic components into comprehensive robotic systems.
- Create algorithms that govern the motion and operational behavior of autonomous robotic mechanisms.
Ensure the performance and reliability of systems through:
- Conducting rigorous testing and simulations to validate designs.
- Meeting all specified requirements and ensuring smooth implementation.
- Keeping abreast of the latest trends and advancements in mechatronics technology.
- Optimizing processes to accommodate increased production volumes while maintaining compatibility and interchangeability.
Essential:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in mechatronic engineering, ideally within the autonomous mobile robotics sector.
- Proficient knowledge of control systems, robotics, and mechatronic principles.
- Experience with sensors, actuators, and various mechatronic components.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, and MATLAB.
- Strong communication skills.
Desirable:
- Familiarity with SolidWorks and its PDM/PLM systems.
- Knowledge of EPlan software.
- Experience in design specifically related to autonomous mobile robots.
- Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools for design verification.
