Job Overview

ASML is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Optics and Optical Metrology group. As a Group Lead, you will be responsible for managing a team of experts in the field of optics and optical metrology, driving research and development, and contributing to the company's overall strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of approximately 15-20 people responsible for mid-term applied research in the field of Optical Design, Integrated Optics, and Optical Metrology.
  • Drive development and maintenance of technical competence in optics and optical metrology.
  • Build and maintain a strong network in and outside ASML, initiating and maintaining cooperation with leading suppliers, universities, and knowledge institutes.
  • Contribute to the company's strategy and goals, ensuring that competences fit business needs.

Requirements

  • Master's or PhD in physics and/or optics.
  • At least 5-10 years of experience in managing teams in relevant fields of science.
  • Strong analytical skills, intelligent, quick thinker.
  • Excellent communication skills.
