Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our EMENA Legal team. This role is pivotal in providing comprehensive support to our legal counsels and business units, with a primary focus on contract management and drafting. The position involves a diverse range of responsibilities and requires dedication, initiative, and a proactive approach.

The role is based at our European Headquarters, with opportunities for flexible remote work arrangements. Reporting to the Senior Legal Counsel, EMENA, you will play a key role in the legal function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the contract administration process, including request intake, triage, and information gathering for contract processing.
  • Analyze the commercial context of transactions, reviewing and revising contract drafts in collaboration with legal counsels or independently.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in various agreements, including confidentiality, procurement, rebate, and sales agreements, along with their amendments.
  • Manage the third-party screening process for suppliers and customers.
  • Conduct training sessions related to contracts for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Administer litigation processes, including preparing reports and gathering evidence to support claims and defenses.
  • Assist in the quarterly budgeting and forecasting activities.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Provide backup support to paralegals managing corporate entities and business units.
  • Engage in departmental efficiency initiatives, including process streamlining and template creation.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Law or a related field, or equivalent experience in managing and drafting commercial contracts.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within a customer-focused environment.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial contract provisions and their legal implications.
  • Familiarity with legal entity management is advantageous but not mandatory if willing to learn.
  • Understanding of litigation support and management is a plus, with a commitment to learning in this area.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and high standards for work output are essential.
  • A self-starter with a curious and flexible mindset, capable of independent problem-solving.
  • A proactive learner with the ability to adapt to new areas quickly.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and integrity in handling confidential information.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in document formatting.
  • Fluency in English for legal documentation is required; additional language skills are a plus.
  • A collaborative team player with a strong bias for action.
