About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior EWIS Functional Design Engineer to join our Engineering department at GKN Fokker Elmo. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the execution of the functional design of electrical wiring interconnections, including analyzing design requirements, performing trade-off studies, and designing wire harnesses constructions and interconnections.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute functional design of electrical wiring interconnections
  • Analyze design requirements and perform trade-off studies
  • Design wire harnesses constructions and interconnections
  • Process aircraft systems data packages and write technical reports
  • Support continuous functional improvements of our Engineering tooling environment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 10 years of working experience in the Aerospace industry
  • Bachelor or Master in aerospace, electrical, or mechanical engineering
  • System design experience, including components, constructions, schematics, and wiring diagrams
  • Experience with Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) tools and MS Office
