EWIS Design Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled EWIS Design Engineer to join our Engineering department at GKN Fokker Elmo. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the execution of the functional design of electrical wiring interconnections.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze design requirements and perform trade-off studies
  • Make design choices and design wire harnesses constructions and interconnections
  • Process aircraft systems data packages and write technical reports
  • Support continuous functional improvements of our Engineering tooling environment
Requirements:
  • Bachelor or Master in aerospace, electrical, or mechanical engineering
  • System design experience, including components, constructions, schematics, and wiring diagrams
  • EWIS/Wiring harness functional design experience
  • Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) tools proficiency
