About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior EWIS Functional Design Engineer to join our team at GKN Fokker Elmo. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-voltage/high-power EWIS systems for aerospace industry projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical wiring interconnections for high-profile aerospace projects
  • Analyze design requirements and perform trade-off studies to ensure optimal system performance
  • Make design choices and create wire harness constructions and interconnections
  • Process aircraft systems data packages and write technical reports
  • Support continuous functional improvements of our Engineering tooling environment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 10 years of experience in the Aerospace industry
  • Bachelor or Master in aerospace, electrical, or mechanical engineering
  • System design experience, including components, constructions, schematics, and wiring diagrams
  • Experience with Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) tools and MS Office
