About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Solution Architect to join our Global SAP Competence Center at Damen Shipyards. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for translating business requirements into SAP requirements and technical roadmaps, providing expert functional and technical consultancy on SAP standard PS components, and ensuring adherence to architecture guidelines and global SAP template.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translate business requirements into SAP requirements and technical roadmaps;
  • Provide expert functional and technical consultancy on SAP standard PS components;
  • Ensure adherence to architecture guidelines and global SAP template;
  • Maintain and share subject matter expertise/knowledge of the solution domain architecture and related functionality;
  • Proactively identify, evaluate, promote, and explain new SAP technologies and developments;
  • Support Business Process Owner(s) in building a community and in knowledge sharing;
  • Provide guidance to the ongoing SAP implementation at Damen divisions;
  • Coach SAP developers in teams where SAP solutions are being (re)built;
Requirements
  • Relevant bachelor's or academic degree;
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant SAP Project System (PS) experience, preferably with S/4 HANA;
  • Strong integration knowledge to adjacent domains for work preparation and production, procurement, HR time registration, and finance and controlling;
  • Strong knowledge on Projects business processes in a manufacturing global environment;
  • Experience in business transformation programs, across business areas, countries, and cultures;
  • Excellent communications skills in Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing;
  • Self-motivated, taking initiative, and sharing innovative ideas with the ability to push back when required;
  • Experience in working in a multi-cultural international environment at a global company;
