About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Solution Architect to join our global SAP Competence Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for guiding the SAP implementation rollout projects and focusing on support and continuous improvement of the SAP S/4 HANA platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translate business requirements into SAP requirements and technical roadmaps to deliver value to the business.
  • Provide expert functional & technical consultancy on SAP standard PS components, best practices, and influence business process mapping.
  • Ensure adherence to architecture guidelines, the global SAP template, and alignment with adjacent SAP domains and processes.
  • Proactively identify, evaluate, promote, and explain new SAP technologies and developments to safeguard the long-term sustainability.
  • Provide guidance to the ongoing SAP implementation at the Damen divisions.
  • Coach the SAP developers in the teams in which SAP solutions are being (re)built, to ensure that development of these solutions is in line with the roadmap and architecture.
Requirements
  • Relevant bachelor's or academic degree.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant SAP Project System (PS) experience, preferably with S/4 HANA.
  • Strong integration knowledge to adjacent domains for work preparation and production (PP – Production Planning module), procurement (MM / EWM - Materials Management / Warehouse Management), HR time registration, and finance and controlling.
  • Excellent communications skills in Dutch and English, both verbally as well as in writing.
  • SAP S/4 CPM (Commercial Project Management) and SAP PPM (Project and Portfolio Management) experience.
  • Experience in realizing complex interfaces to and from SAP, specifically Primavera.
  • Experience as integration/liaison consultant or manager within complex SAP implementation projects.
