About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Model Management Specialist to join our team at ABN AMRO Bank. As a key member of our Risk Data and Analytics department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the bank's regulatory models are accurate, reliable, and compliant with current regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain regulatory models to ensure compliance with current regulations and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement model landscapes that reflect the bank's business strategy and regulatory requirements.
- Provide expert advice on model design, implementation, and performance to stakeholders across the organization.
- Conduct quality assurance assessments of model developments and monitoring projects to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and industry developments to ensure the bank's models remain compliant and effective.
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in credit risk management, policy, and framework development or regulatory reporting.
- Academic education in a relevant field, such as econometrics, mathematics, actuarial studies, risk management, or finance.
- Exceptional understanding of regulatory requirements regarding capital requirements for credit risk, including IRB and SA.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Pro-active and collaborative attitude, with a strong team player profile.
